Living Waters Ministry provides essential shelter in Chiang Mai for needy patients and caregivers, especially cancer patients from northern Thailand. Since 2011, the Wongs have also supported refugees through medical outreaches and training & are expanding efforts to aid & support the wounded, students, and children along border towns.

Since August 2009, Living Waters Home serves more than 700 people annually, who come from all the provinces of North Chiang Mai, and from the border states of Laos & Myanmar. A civil war between the ethnic armies and citizens against the Junta started in 2021 right after the Junta seized power. It intensified towards the end of 2023, and coupled with compulsory conscription by both the Junta and local militias, led many to flee to Thailand, which shares a long, porous border. Living Waters Ministry seeks to respond to children, youths & the sick at a time such as this.
